welcome to

the insomnia salon

Community art experiences,

produced through a collaboration between artists

Eddie Estrin, Margit Berman (of Jackson Street Arts), & Julie Marie Muskat (of Deeper Water Arts)

Started in 2025 through the Jewish Arts Collective,

The Insomnia Salon is a surreal, sleepless performance & art collective.

The Salon brings together troubled souls in these anxious times for conversation, magic, myth, poetry, music, dance, & art to allay our fears, build human connection, & spark a creative, loving response to the problems of our time.

Beginning January 2026, the Insomnia Salon is hosting

Art Noshes

Art Nosh is creative cross-training, a chance to come together with artists at all levels & disciplines to try new creative adventures, build collective magic, & nourish your artistic development. Art Nosh is also the gateway drug to participation in Insomnia Salon performances.

what’s this new kaffeeklatsch thing?

While the Art Nosh workshops are more formal, Kaffeeklatsch is an informal gathering of multidisciplinary artists to simply chat over hot drinks, do a short creative warm-up, & co-work on your projects in a designated space with the help of community accountability.

“Kaffeeklatsch” is German-Yiddish for “coffee gossip.”

ALL ARE WELCOME!
